Planet X, also known as Comet Nibiru poses a real threat to our Earth, according to most Mayan Myth-Makers. Could the Biblical star Wormwood be one and the same?

According to Revelation 8:10 and 11, “And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.”

“Wormwood” is mentioned several times in your Bible. It comes from an old word meaning “to curse” or “to make bitter”. Wormwood is also associated with the tree hemlock which has a bitter sap or something of that nature. Wormwood is found in Jeremiah 9:15, 23:15, Lamentations 3:15, 3:19, and Proverbs 5:4 (to name a few places.) In every case, without exception, it refers to a bitter judgment or curse.

In Revelation 8 Wormwood is the name given to the star (heavenly body) that crashes into the earth. It will be (or it will bring) a bitter curse. The fresh water supply of the earth will be effected insomuch that many men will die by drinking from them.  Whether it is an asteroid, a star, or a planet is irrelevant, for the Bible says it will strike the Earth, and the devastation will be “bitter.”

Who can say if Nibiru and Wormwood are one and the same. Proponents of Comet Nibiru are claiming that the results of its collision with earth will bring much greater harm than the Biblical claims of Wormwood. On the other hand, the Wormwood prophecy of Revelation 8 comes with the iron-clad guarantee of a perfect Bible that has not missed one single prophecy since the beginning of time. A Bible prophecy always comes true because its author is divine.

There have been asteroid strikes on the earth before.  Craters left behind prove it.  Haley’s Comet is one of the most infamous near misses.  It is important to bring this up, for some of our “Mayan” friends seem to think that a comet that close would cause tsunamis and tidal waves, not to mention horrendous atmospheric changes.  All speculation is vain, but we can trust the Bible.

Wormwood will come, and it will strike the earth, and it will poison the fresh water on the planet.  However, it is important to point out the time frame:  it will occur during the 7-year Tribulation.  That is the terrible time of judgment that God has planned upon the unsaved of the earth.  You have nothing to worry about if you are saved.  If, on the other hand, you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, you have every reason to fear.

Don’t worry about the coming of the Comet…  Prepare for the coming of Christ!

Twas the night before Doomsday, two thousand and twelve
Not a creature was worried, they’d all prepared well.

In case that The Comet soon would be there.

While Visions of Catastrophe danced in their heads
And Mamma in her Kevlar, and Me with my Uzzi,
Were heading for bed with our minds feeling snoozy.

When up on the Big screen there arose such a clatter
From all the Talk show hosts, and the internet chatter
Away to my desk chair I flew like a flash,
Tore open the browser, and stared in abash.

The websites were pumping their dower doomsday stuff,
And I was tired of it all, Just about to log off
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer.

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!

His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
But his face flashed with anger, and he stomped and he seethed,
(For the world had gone wild with this Mayan prophecy)-

“Come Comet, come Earthquake, come Nostradomus
Come Famine, come Pestilence, and all that bad stuff.
These things are so awful, they horrify us,
But why, do you suppose, on the eve of Christmas?

First came old Scrooge and his Bah, Hum-Bug junk,
Now it’s doom and gloom prophets spreading dank Maya Bunk!
To discourage hearts and to make folks feel drear,
They always pick Christmas, the best time of year

I don’t like what they’re doing, and I think it’s a plot,
To bring people terror, believe it or not!
What right have they got to go spreading ‘round fear?
‘Tis the Birthday of Christ, Now be of good Cheer!

 It’s just one more trick, can’t you see, don’t you know?
To steal away Christmas, from right under your nose!
Those Maya’s are Grinches, as plain as can be,
They want you to focus on them, and not He,

Who came to this earth as the Savior of men
And died on the cross in atonement for sin.
So don’t trust the calendar of the ill-fated Maya,
Believe upon Jesus, God’s promised Messiah.”

According to the Bible, there ARE GOING to be two suns. What the Mayas don’t know and what their prophecies don’t tell you is, One of the suns is going to bring destruction and devastation. The other is going to bring healing in His wings. One is going to burn up much of the earth, and those on it. The other is coming to heal, help, and straighten out the whole mess that the first one has brought.

Along with all the talk about hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, comets, and more horrifying stuff than you can think of, The “Mayan prophecies” seem to indicate there will be two suns in 2012.  What does the Bible say about all this?  Let us see:

I draw your attention to Malachi 4:1and 2.

     For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

1.  Notice:  The word Sun in Verse 2 is capitalized.  Why is a word capitalized in the middle of a verse?  It is a proper noun…a name.  It is someone’s name.  Whose name is it?  Obviously it is another name for the Lord Jesus Christ.

2.  Notice:  Verse one tells us that there is coming a day when the sun is going to burn those on the earth…with intense heat…like an oven.  It is going to be a time of the execution  of the wrath of God Almighty.

3.  Jesus is often called the Son Of God all throughout Scripture.  He is called the Only Begotten Son of God, due to the fact that He is the only person ever born who was not conceived by man, but rather, conceived by God, Himself.  He is called the Son of man.  But here, in Malachi, He is not called the Son, but rather, The Sun.  It is not a misprint.  It is not an accident.  God calls Jesus the Sun.

4.  Over in the Book of Revelation, when John the revelator saw Jesus, he said that the countenance of Jesus was shining like the sun:  Revelation 1:16   And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.  This is revealed once in the last Book of the Old Testament, and once in the last book of the New Testament…  Obviously, Jesus Christ is coming as the Sun at the end of time. 

5.  When Jesus, The SUN comes to this earth next, he will be shining as bright as the Sun.  His countenance will be glistering white.  And He will come with healing in his wings.  This, of course, speaks of his restoration of this earth after the Tribulation period that immediately precedes His return to the earth.  During the seven year period of the Tribulation, such horrendous annihilation will take place, that only Jesus can fix it.  And fix it up, He will!

Consider:  Psalm 84:11   For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Also:  Matthew 17:2   And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

And think:  Revelation 21:23   And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

God and 2012

There is a God.  To deny it is to admit that you are a fool.
 “The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.” Psalm 53:1.

1.  God is all-wise.
2.  God is all-loving.
3.  God is all-knowing.
4.  God is Omni-present.  
5.  God planned mankind’s creation meticulously.  It is spelled-out for us in His Book, The Bible.
6.  God has planned mankind’s end on this earth.  It is clearly laid out for us in His Book, The Bible.
7.  God wants all mankind everywhere to be saved from the judgment, and to live with Him forever in Heaven for all eternity.
8.  God has tolerated mankind now for just about 6,000 years.
9.  Only the mercy of God and the grace of God withhold his wrath.
10. God has told us in His Book, The Bible, that there is coming at the end of this age:  A one-world government, the Antichrist, The Rapture, The Tribulation Period, The Third Temple in Jerusalem, The Mark of the Beast, The Two Witnesses in Jerusalem, World-wide Famine, Economic Chaos, and Disorder of all kinds, The Battle of Armageddon, The Last Judgment, The Millennial Reign of Christ, and the eventual destruction of the whole planet.

If He chooses to use the Illuminate to bring any of this about, so be it.  If he chooses to use the Bilderberg Group to do it, who cares?  If he uses the Masonic Lodge and all their secret orders to cause these things to come to pass, that’s his business.  If he uses the Great White Brotherhood to introduce any or all of this, that’s fine with me.  He is God.  Maybe  the International Bankers are actually pawns in the hand of the Almighty.  Maybe all the hidden powers of the darkest secret orders that ever hatched devious plots are nothing more than puppets on strings, dangled by the cunning hands of the Great I Am.

He answers to no man.  He is God.  He does what He wants.  He is God.  He rules in the kingdoms of men and lifts up one and puts down another.  He is God.  He is not scared by WW2, Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, or any future war, large or small.  He is God.

To say that men make wars, to say that men create financial cirses, to say that men bring about collapses of nations, to say that men cause global warming, to say that men will fabricate an antichrist, to say that men will bring about the destruction of our world, is to ignore and overlook the most glaring reality…There is a God!  He is in control.  Nothing happens without his allowing it. 

We may very well be right when we say that the wealthy men of the world are trying to bring down the nations, but never forget that God is ultimately allowing it.  We may be right when we say that a military madman will rise to power and crush any and all in his path, but it is God that said it would happen, and it is God that is working all things out so that it WILL happen.

Don’t forget God!  Don’t forget your creator.  Don’t’ forget the one that loves you so much that he sent his only begotten son to die in your place on the cross of Calvary.  Don’t forget that man, at his best state, is but dust, and God, in his worst state, is utter perfection! 

Go ahead.  Try to figure out how everything will come about.  Try to assign a name to the nameless antichrist.  Try to set a date for the dateless Rapture of the Church.  Try to demonize and villainize all the power groups of the world.  In the end, The Most High sits upon His throne, and does what he wants.  He is God!

Why fight him?  Why resist him?  Accept his free gift of salvation today.  Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shall be saved!
